New York Times x Google Lens
Art Direction & Print Design
Google partnered with The New York Times to create interactive content in its magazine using AR technology. Over the course of 2020, we designed print ads in The New York Times Magazine and newspaper.
Two of the print ads when scanned by Google Lens expanded into interactive lenslets. Throughout the partnership we used our ads to reflect on the cultural events of a historic year such as Black Lives Matter and the LGBTQIA+ movement.

great performers Issue 12.13.20
The campaign wrapped at the end of 2020. After such a bleak year, we wanted to bring joy to readers by celebrating a cultural movement that has inspired positive change across the nation. We created a video that demonstrated how the Harlem Ball culture in NYC defied discriminatory laws and broke through social norms.
